How We Approach Delay Analysis

Delay analysis must move beyond narrative explanation and connect events to the critical path. We examine the contemporaneous programme, progress records, and contractual mechanisms to determine whether an event actually caused delay to completion, and whether that delay is compensable or excusable.

Our analysis distinguishes between delay that is on the critical path and delay that is merely local or float-consuming. Where concurrency is raised, we examine the true concurrent cause and the contract's treatment of concurrent delay, rather than applying a blanket formula.
